David the Dwarf - Cel

Here's a cel from a shot with David, the dwarf character. Not quite certain where and how I want to go with this, but I like it as it looks now. (still needs a background, obviously. This was just a mock texture generated in PS.)

Biggest part of it? The cel art was created quickly because of Toon Boom's unique tools. The linework is crisp because all the corners were created using the Cutter tool, which allowed me to simply and quickly erase over-draw, while the line-art was quickly mapped into simple shapes for coloring through the Line and Color art mode (several times, in fact, as I made revisions.) Then the Shadows & highlights were quickly and effectively drawn using the Line Art layer to overlay transparent areas overtop of the color areas.

(tl;dr: I REALLY like this program's tools. They're perfect for me and my style!)
